Napanee Trail Blazing

The L&A County Trails are found in the heart of beautiful Eastern Ontario. Stretching northward from the shore of Lake Ontario, the routes are found on well-maintained county and select local roadways – ideal for on-road cycling enthusiasts. As you travel, you’ll experience the natural beauty, unique history, and unforgettable rural charm that Lennox & Addington has to offer.

Lennox & Addington County is the perfect place for touring. Our well-maintained roads offer a great variety of curves and rolling hills, and the breathtaking scenic views are well worth seeing. Along the way you'll visit the charming communities that give L&A County its rich rural flavour.

Another World!

Located just a few kilometres north of Erinsville near the Sheffield Conservation Area, the L&A County Dark Sky Viewing Area is the most southerly point in Ontario where the night sky is so pristine, offering a night sky experience very similar to what was available more than 100 years ago.

Napanee Golf & Country Club

Established in 1897 and within walking distance of the downtown core, the Napanee Golf & Country Club is the second oldest 9-hole course in Canada. The course boasts beautifully manicured, fully irrigated fairways made challenging by mature trees, rolling hills and intriguing water hazards. The course has nine holes, with different tees for the front and back nine. The forward tees play 5388 yards and the regular tees 5877 each for 18 holes. The 18 hole par is 70. The challenges presented by the course are the undulating fairways and greens with subtle and not so subtle slopes. You'll find the clubhouse a charming surprise as it takes you back to an earlier time. Catered events also available. For more information, please visit
